What can i say I m a fan
this is easily leav s best work i do feel like with every collection, she gets slightly better at writing, but still, i can t really say i like reading her work i just have no impulse control i do believe she s better at writing prose than poetry so i m actually interested in reading of that as for poetry, i still think she has a lot of room for improvement.
I cannot rate this poetry book I didn t really enjoy it, purely because I couldn t relate to the poems, except for maybe four I haven t been in love so I struggle with words about love and loss If you ve ever been in love, I say give this book a try

I didn t read any of Leav s work before this book, so I was a little surprised disappointed that this was basically slightly less cliched, but not by much another Rupi Kaur vibes type book I m sure a lot of people enjoyed this, but not for me.

I think I outgrew this kind of poetry and that s why I just didn t connect to this collection One or two pieces felt something substantial but the rest just didn t make any impact Also poems with different themes were just mixed together I am reading a poem on unrequited love and the net piece is a Tumblr y motivation piece Then we have a piece about contentment Maybe its a personal peeve but I feel the editing could have been better.I think this will be my last book by Lang Leav.1.5 stars

I absolutely adored this book I have one poetry collection by Lang Leav but I haven t had the chance to pick it up yet This was a good book to start with because it was so relatable I could feel all of Lang s words, and the emotion was so strong It is so powerful and is all about female empowerment It was an amazing collection, and I am so glad I was able to read this ahead of time I know I will be buying the physical copy soon
