I really enjoyed this novel based on season 1 of the tv series once upon a time Regina and Emma s son Henry is a bit of a static character on the page meaning he isn t so much figuring out who is who along with Emma as much as is omniscient in all things fairy tale about Storybrooke This makes him of a narrator instead of precocious child I did like the tailored focus on Emma and Snow White Mary Margaret versus the twisty dialogue of multiple character pasts and presents.
I think that the book really caught my attention and i just could not put it down.
I read this book because I love the show it is based off of Overall, I d rate the book above average I expected the book to be a little better then it was One of the things I didn t like about the book was that it was missing things from the show If I was to base it off how similar to the show it was, I would give it a 3 because it missed some important imformation such as, the relationship between Rumple and Belle and some of the character points in the Enchanted Forest is said in narration not [...]
